Taleem, Tarbiyat, and Hunar
We are a couple homeschooling our two daughters, and we started this blog to share our journey with you.

Our philosophy is built on three core pillars: Taleem, Tarbiyat, and Hunar.
These three concepts, rooted in our values, guide us every day.
01
Taleem (Acquisition of Knowledge)
This is the academic backbone of our homeschooling. Taleem is about fostering a lifelong love of learning. We focus on providing a rich, well-rounded education that extends beyond textbooks, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a profound understanding of the world. It’s about not just what our children learn, but how they learn to think and solve problems.
02
Tarbiyat (Character Building)
Tarbiyat is the heart of our homeschooling. It’s the intentional nurturing of our children’s character, manners, and values. We believe that true education is incomplete without a strong moral compass. This pillar is about teaching empathy, resilience, kindness, and personal responsibility—the virtues that will empower our daughters to be compassionate and contributing members of society.
03
Hunar (Practical Skills)
Hunar is about empowering our children with practical skills for life. It’s hands-on learning that prepares them for the real world, whether it’s cooking a meal, gardening, coding, public speaking, or managing their finances. We integrate these skills into our daily lives, giving our children the confidence and independence to thrive in any situation.
We’re just a family on this incredible adventure. When we began our homeschooling journey, we realised we wanted to create something more than a school at home; we wanted to build a philosophy for life. By sharing our successes, challenges, and lessons learned with you, we hope to support and inspire your homeschooling journey.
